ハキリアリさん

ハキリアリさんたちです。巨大な女王アリが見えますね。10月にハキリアリたちをこちらの飼育室にお迎えできたのですが、11月中旬に急に調子が悪くなり、1月中旬まで大変な状態でした。ようやくここ1ヶ月でかなり回復してきました。僕の寿命も縮んだ数ヶ月でしたよ。

The leaf-cutting ants! Can you see the huge queen ant? Although I moved these leaf-cutting ant nests in last October into the insect room of OUS, these ants were getting worse in mid November, then over several months (mind January) it was a hard situation. At last, they could revive more or less in this month. I also have felt lethal damage in these months!!!
